 Hi all!
Just wanted to poke and tell you which conventions I'll be going to in the coming months:

Anime Boston: May 24-26 (along with Yamino from Sister Claire)
Philadelphia Comic Con: May 29-30 June 1-2 (along with Megan&Isa from Namesake, folks from Misfile and also Guilded Age creators)
ConnectiCon: July 11-14 (along with most of the Hiveworks studio!)

That's it for the moment! I will not have Roomie books to sell, I'm afraid, since they'll need more time to print than we originally thought, but I will have prints, charms, stickers, coasters, original strips and perhaps more goodies to sell as cons go.
I sincerely hope to see you :)

I'm travelling today so it's hard to get anything done, especially today's strip, so I'm throwing this little thing that is part of ONE of the 12 chapter covers in the Roomie book. I wish I could show you, like, everything, but I prefer knowing you discover them when opening the actual book :)

Cheers and thanks for everything!

Oh and, I've been getting super awesome presents from fans (DEATH STATUE JUST CAME IN AAAAAH<333) and I'll pimp them out next week (before going to the USA AAAAHHHH<333)

Great, instead of an actual comic, you get a blabbering Chloé. My bad, carry on! See you Monday!

Roomie loves invading your dreams and filling them with sexual innuendos.

Thanks for your patience, I really want to make this book worth it.

 Hi guys!

Would you believe I thought we were Sunday today? No? Well it happened. So I'm working up on today's update, but in the meanwhile, I'm showing you this GGaR poster that some of you will get in print as a Kickstarter reward! :)

See you soon!

EDIT: Guest Strips are closed! Thanks to all of you who submitted something<333 And thanks to the rest of yah who keep on reading!

Hey gals and guys and all in between!

I'm doing another Guest Strip Week soon. Very soon. In fact, I'd like to start it next week. If you want, and can, draw one for Go Get a Roomie in such a short time, here are the details:

-No particular themes. Doesn't even have to be Christmas related! It can even happen in space, in some alternate universe, for all I know. As long as everyone is in character.

-Things to avoid: a guest strip isn't meant to fulfill your fantasy nor reveal anything that could be ultimately important to the story. For example: Roomie suddenly declares an undying love for Lillian. Whether that happens or not is crucial and only my choice, I'm afraid. So nothing revealing.

-Other things to avoid: violence, overuse of rude language, butterfly suicide, basically anything that just doesn't sound like the Roomie universe I've been describing through these years.

-Format: There is not specific format nor limit. If I find it's either too huge or not a high enough resolution, I will tell you so. Colors  and styles is also all up to you.

-Apart from that, let your imagination take over! Have fun! If you have any questions regarding your guest strip's scenario, you can ask away at chocobo888 (at) hotmail (dot) com

-Once you have the final result, you can send the strip at that same email adress. Make sure to write down your artist name you want me to use, along with your website/blog link.

-Depending on how many entries I get, there is a chance I will have to refuse some of the guest strips. Don't let that discourage you. You might not be an art master yet, but trying is the most important step to becoming one, and I thank you in advance for doing so.

Good luck! For any little questions you can also ask in the comments below so that other interested peepz might see them.

Cheers :)

 That's how sketchdumps are made.

Honestly though, I don't consider these are "work". But I do love doing a bunch of random sketches at times, as I sometimes mention in previous sketch updates. Thanks for being so patient, I hope it's worth your time.

(Randomness, OCs and fanarts alike, most of which are already posted on my Tumblr

On another note: A Roomie book Kickstarter will soon be starting!! :D soooooooon~~~ *working on it with a few other Hiveworks members<3*

The usual day. Which would be slightly exaggerating, or else I would never be able to work on anything.

And since this is Thanksgiving, I would like to thank you all, from the very bottom of my heart.

Well it's no where near as fancy as other webcomic artist's halloween illustration, but I've been travelling all day and I couldn't get the scanner going, so this is the best I could come up with before going to bed via photoshop.

I do wish you a fun Halloween though :)

I tried. I really tried to work today. Look, I have the tablet in my hands and all! And a bee-- orange juice!

Featuring my room-mates and friends.

That's right! Me and other webcomic collegues from The Hiveworks, now have our own little place in the Pixie Trix forum. It's an honor to work with so many amazingly kind artists :)

So for those who might've hoped for a forum to discuss a specific something revolving around Roomie, you can do so now.

On another note: my apologies for the irregular updates this week. I've been caught up on various things that shouldn't have affected my schedule so much, but apparently very much did. In any case, I hold my fans' best interest at heart, and do not plan on making you wait for updates again like I did this week.

Oh and rats<3

Why- I would LOVE a week free of Roomie so I can catch up and work on other projects. I also love seeing other people have their take on my characters<3

What- While I do prefer guest strips, an illustration may be accepted if it tells a story by itself.

Who- ANYONE can send their Roomie Guest Strips, but you do have to realize that there will be a quality check before putting it up. Not just art-wise, but also keeping it in character, and not transforming it into your fantasy  (aka: NO Roomie/Lillian kissing, guys ;) )

How- Contact me via my email adress:  to send any guest strips. If you want to draw something, but you’re not sure if it’ll be accepted in the end, you can send me your idea/storyline for the guest strip in question, along with examples of your art, so I can tell you if it all looks good, or if there are details to improve, and such. If you have a question, you can post it in the comments below so I can answer and everyone can look it up.

When- The deadline is on Sunday the 5th of August. You have more than 3 weeks to work on the guest strip! Should be enough :)

That’s it! Thanks in advance to anyone who might be interested!

Lots of love,

Chloé C.
