The leader of the group helps the fireman/firewoman take the rock inside the hut and into the hole dug for them in the middle with usually a simple branch forked in two. If they use deer antlers, for example, that would imply the person leading has a specific connection with deers, because nothing in this ritual is a coincidence, everything has a meaning.
