I was wondering if I had written explicitly where the story arc came from, within GGaR itself, and here's the answer! I'm glad, though I shouldn't have doubted too much, I'm always attentive for these sorts of things. Ideally I would've loved telling Robert Fisher about it and seeing if he's cool with it, but he had died a few years before. I like to think he finds it dope and the knight cute and his spirit is totally giving me the thumbs up right now (and a wink). 

Roomie's last sentence, the "cute". It's cute enough... but I feel I could interpret it other ways now. Like... part of Roomie is grateful for the story, but another part of her is unsure about someone looking into her psyche and telling her what's good for her, in a way. And so Roomie's "cute" can be heard as half sincere and half dismissive. As in, yeah cute, thanks, I'll uhh be going to drink my beer now sorry but I'm not ready for you to look into my soul just yet :D

But that's just me right now, you interpret all of this however you want! It's your story as much as mine now :)
