I feel the second panel dialogue "that, and I was originally trying to distract you" came a bit out of the blues? Like, I had a moment when I was like, "what is she talking about..?" then remembered that before this whole scene, Roomie was going for a beer at the bar and Lillian was tagging along. So sure, it could be understood what Lillian meant but the scene's too far off to understand what she means quickly enough!
Readers shouldn't have to think too much about what's going on in the comic, unless it's meant to do so, like if it were a crime scene and readers are invited to think along the main character doing the detective work, you know?
Anyway... I like the last panel a lot.
