"Operations" should be "surgery" in english, no? 

And I remember reading some reactions back then, on that first strip and Watch's "adorable but odd" line... back then it seemed like the """wise""" thing to say, and since Watch was supposed to represent a sort of wise in their innocence kind of person, it seemed logic that they'd say that humans were adorable and odd.

Now I get why some people felt it was a judgement on Watch's part, or even a little condescending. Kind of like looking down on a child or a pet and going "awww, you're trying, how cute."
