Lillian bringing a real ass notebook instead of a computer or tablet to share her stories, to show off her handwriting? To make it seem like she's an old school dope ass writer? Probably because she had no batteries for her computer and was like... "mkay, well I also write on paper, so I guess that's what I'll bring" and forgot she could bring a charger with her or something.
