And yes, from my understanding, Eve's relationship would still count as a polyamorous relationship, since Allan's in love with Eve but has his own love for Steve, and it's part of the relationship... Steve would be the "metamour", in this regard.

I had a best friend who was really into his poly discoveries and experiences at that time, and I enjoyed our talks a lot on the subject, and meeting his poly friends (hello berlin), so that might have been around that time that I wrote these strips (and some others later on) that were more centered on polyamorous relationships.

Plus, GGaR does tend to focus on relationships and sex positivity so it was only a matter of time!

It wasn't something I experienced myself, though there were tentatives and a toe or two dipped in the poly pool, everything that's poly related in this comic is only me imagining what my characters could go through living poly experiences. I mean, comic characters are almost always just the one author imagining stuff :D so that's one more of them.

But what's interesting is how you can project yourself and your own experiences into things you've never lived, through those characters. Doesn't mean it's always done in the best of ways, but it's always interesting playing with that power, and learning from it!

--> This is a rerun of the finished webcomic Go Get a Roomie! You can find these two strips in the old archive >here<!
