That's a glorious double strip right there, I remember readers quite liking these ;)
And hey! This is the moment when I switched from inking traditionally to digitally! See if you can spot the difference with the last few strips. The lineart appears thicker and cleaner, perhaps a bit smoother. A bit less detailed.
I think I made the choice because I wanted to get better at it, at digital drawing, and also because I thought that after a while when I got more used to it and drew faster, I'd gain some time in making GGaR strips.
I'd say it's somewhat true, saving time I mean, but not by much... and it depends on how detailed the strip is, and if I use a lot of copy pasting or not, or special effects that might be found on photoshop (art program used at the time).
Nowadays I'm back on the traditional inking and loving it :) (and still learning and always looking to improve!)
If you're curious about my newer comic work with neat traditional inks, you can read the first chapter of my new webcomic "Little Tiny Things" on my patreon! Will launch publicly soonish.
--> This is a rerun of the finished webcomic Go Get a Roomie! You can find these two strips in the old archive >here<!
