Now THAT was a panel I really took the time to draw for GGaR. Probably the most detailed and researched panel I did in the whole comic? I still think it looks rad too, that's saying something!

Oh there's plenty to say here:

The woman that WOC was talking about, that Ramona sounded like, wasn't Alice. (which Ramona thinks she's referring to, as she's seen a picture of Alice and WOC)

I don't think I've mentioned it in the comic but WOC thought Ramona sounded like herself when younger. Young WOC, or young Manisa, was not the happiest person, went through puberty and young adult life with two legs failing her and away from home and with an anger inside her that made her impatient and speak with a sarcastic tone.

Meeting Alice was a big change in her life. Made her reconnect with a lot of things that she had started casting aside. Helped her build a new life.

But let's return to Ramona for a second and add that, absolutely, when writing this script I was opened to seeing if there could be a sort of romantic interest between the two.

--> This is a rerun of the finished webcomic Go Get a Roomie! You can find these two strips in the old archive >here<!
