So, I remember this one reader, at one point in this chapter (in the original run), saying how for them, the whole Matt thing already had its conclusion in the previous chapters, that having this new face-to-face situation between Lillian and Matt wasn't necessary.

And... I kinda agree now, haha.

On one hand, I do like how the chapter starts, and everything that happens in it, I'm quite happy with the different interactions, and open emotions displayed, etc, but on the other hand, I do totally get it: Lillian's "breakthrough" happened already, when she had that last talk about it with Roomie, and she felt like she was "owning" what had happened, "rather than being chased by it".

But I probably wanted to do this for Matt as well. To show his own evolution and understanding. I just wanted them to have a better goodbye, between two people who have changed a lot since the event that had transpired.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for happy endings!

*This is a rerun of the finished webcomic Go Get a Roomie! You can find these two strips in the old archive >here<!
