hot diggity dang. I had forgotten what led to that kiss. How Lillian steers it all, brilliantly, and decides that... yeah. Yeah, kissing Roomie is the sincerest way she can show Roomie how much she cares about her.

And the moment she decides it, the moment Lillian realizes what she needs to do, is the "..." at the start of the second panel, second strip. That's it, that's when she knows. Without fully being aware of it, Lillian just knows that at that moment, she loves Roomie and she's ready for the next step in their relation.
