And I have no idea if I had thought of this when doing the second strip, probably not?, but now that I see the sun appearing in the last panel, I'm like "oh yeah, makes sense! The sun represents the Yang, something that's active, towards the exterior world, so Roomie finally declaring her love is pulling what she feels inside (represented by the moon/the Yin) towards the outside (sun/Yang)!" 

It's great when you find new meanings to your own work almost exactly 6 years later.
