This second panel (first strip) is a moment I remember well. I have the feeling that this was one of the rare moments when I knew I was showing Roomie really liking Lillian and expressing it, almost despite myself. As if... as if Roomie was taking up my pen and drawing herself this way for me, as if it couldn't have been any other way.

She admired Lillian, truly.

And the sentence "might feel a bit weird going at Jo's after such a touching tale" also tells a lot about Roomie's (start of a) change. It's the first time she "hesitates" going to Jo's, or at least admits that it's not the same. And that there's something back at Lillian's that she might not find at Jo's.

And Lillian's not getting her sleepy time, oh no!

--> This is a rerun of the finished webcomic Go Get a Roomie! You can find these two strips in the old archive >here<!
